Marsha has been practicing yoga for over 40 years and took her first yoga class at the age of 14 in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Since then, she has been an aerobics instructor/program director for fitness guru Richard Simmons, a personal trainer, shiatsu massage therapist, natural food advisor and yoga instructor. After her pursuit of many styles of yoga over the years, Marsha began a regular program of Bikram yoga at a studio in Boca Raton, Florida.

Her passion for yoga continued to grow and in 1997 she moved to Los Angeles and lived only five minutes from Bikram's home studio in Beverly Hills, California. Marsha spent the next four years studying and training under Bikram Chaudhury (the original Hot Yoga) and his senior teacher Emmy Cleaves. In 2000, she received her first yoga certification as a Bikram yoga instructor and taught her first class at her home studio.

A year later, Marsha relocated to Israel as the first certified instructor to teach Bikram yoga in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.  She traveled extensively teaching Bikram yoga in over 50 studios throughout the U.S.., Costa Rica and Israel, and she helped open the first Bikram studio in Tel Aviv in 2005. In 2008 and 2010 Marsha attended an intensive yoga teacher training in Rhode Island with renowned yoga teacher, Ana Forrest, followed by a one-year mentorship in Los Angeles. Most recently, in 2015, she participated in a "chair yoga" training with Lakshmi Voelker in St. Augustine, Florida. Marsha currently leads yoga classes at the Bikram Yoga Plus studio in Palm Desert, California, and teaches private classes (at country clubs and in homes), conducts workshops, and hosts annual yoga Retreats in Costa Rica.

Marsha uses the spiritual peace and internal insight she has gained through her personal pursuit of yoga to guide her instruction. While each teacher has a special way of teaching yoga, the common theme expressed is "never give up", "work hard" and trust yourself and the process,"all of which are meaningful in yoga and in life. In her practice Marsha infuses what she has learned from several decades of experience/training and has developed her own unique teaching style, which is filled with passion and authenticity, to bring out the best in each student. She hopes that you continue this spiritual journey with her and looks forward to meeting you on the mat!
